The game between Top Four teams took place in Santa Ana. Second ranked host Santa Ana (10-2) smashed one of their biggest challengers Metapan (9-3) 98-79. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Metapan. Santa Ana looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Puerto Rican point guard Lee Vazquez (173-1991, college: Westfield St.) who helped to win the game recording 28 points and 8 assists and American Timothy Simmons (195-1992, college: DBU) who added 19 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was Cuban forward Yoel Cubillas (204-1994) with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 16 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Santa Ana have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 10-2 record behind leader San Salvador. Metapan at the other side keeps the third place with three games lost. Santa Ana are looking forward to face league's leader San Salvador on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Metapan will play against Santa Tecla and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.

The winners were led by American center Marc Montavious (206-1990, college: Georgetown, KY) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 18 points, 19 rebounds and 4 assists and Jeremy Agosto supported him with 13 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Even a double-double of 11 points, 23 rebounds and 4 assists by American-Colombian center Freddy Asprilla (206-1988, college: Canisius) did not help to save the game for Santiagueno. San Salvador have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 11-1 record. Santiagueno lost sixth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 11 games lost. San Salvador will play against league's second-placed Santa Ana at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Santiagueno will have a break next round.

Defending champion Santa Tecla dropped to the sixth place with six games lost. San Salvador will meet at home league's second-placed Santa Ana in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Santa Tecla will play against Metapan (#3) and hope to secure a win.

There were no shocking results in the other games in round 12: Brujos lost to A.Lobos on the opponent's court 52-67. Salvadorenos managed to outperform A.Lobos in a home game 69-58. Bottom-ranked Santiagueno recorded a loss to Fantasmas on the road 76-74.

Salvadorenos outrebounded A.Lobos 44-32 including a 38-26 advantage in defensive rebounds. Salvadorenos looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was power forward Brayan Garcia (194-1998) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points, 18 rebounds and 5 assists.
